The Hardy Boyz are back together in All Elite Wrestling, and got a new contract extension with the company in the process.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that Matt Hardy’s contract extension matches the length of his brother’s deal so that the contracts of The Hardy Boyz will expire at the same time.

Matt Hardy confirmed this news on his Twitch channel, stating:

“I’ve extended my contract with AEW, I’m going to be there a little bit longer,” Matt Hardy revealed. “They matched myself and Jeff up, which was very cool. We can still do outside appearances.”

Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite marked the first time that The Hardy Boyz were together on a wrestling program since an episode of WWE SmackDown in April of 2019 when they defeated The Usos to capture the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. The titles ended up having to be relinquished due to an untimely injury to Jeff Hardy.
